Week 3

 So now I am 7kgs down, the weight loss has slowed but it is still steady which is a comfort really. I had envisioned myself having the usual results of weight down and then weight steadily back up. So what has changed this time?

This time, I am not cheating. Not at all, not once, not one deviation. 

This time, I am determined to see those scales go down, down, down. And, most importantly, to stay down!

This time, it is about health and family. Long term gains that I also know will be lifelong choices that I will have to stick to in order to reverse the diabetes diagnosis and to get to a healthy BMI. I am choosing to take back my energy, my sleep, my comfort, my clothing choices - even my nice legs that I used to have! They were my favourite thing about me, once upon a time!
